Jamshedpur: To celebrate its centenary year, Shri Rajasthan Shiv Mandir in Jugsalai will organize a free religious quiz competition on June 21 at the temple premises. This event marks the latest installment in a yearlong series of programs celebrating the temple’s 100th anniversary.
The organizers have divided the competition into two brackets:
- Junior Category: Children between 5 and 13 years of age.
- Senior Category: Participants between 13 and 20 years of age.
Children from the Marwari community are eligible to join the event.
Registration Details
Parents and guardians can register their children directly at the temple office. To verify eligibility, the registration team requires a copy of the child’s birth certificate or identifying documentation.
The quiz competition will run from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on June 21 right inside the temple grounds.
Winners to Receive Honors From Distinguished Guest
The top participants will receive their prizes during the grand centenary celebration on June 30. The revered Shankaracharya Ji Maharaj of Joshimath Badrikashram will grace the main function as a distinguished spiritual guest and personally distribute the awards.
Deepening Cultural Roots Among Youth
“The competition aims to encourage children and young people to deepen their understanding of religious traditions, culture, and values,” stated program coordinator Vishwanath Sharma. Renowned Quiz Master Arvind Tiwari will host and conduct the quiz.
The temple committee is currently supervising all event arrangements.
