Jamshedpur: Punjab & Sind Bank crush Sashratra Seema Bal 7-0 in Hockey Nationals

Jamshedpur, October 3: The fourth day of the 5th Hockey India Senior Men Inter-Department National Championship 2025, hosted at the Naval Tata Hockey Academy (NTHA), Jamshedpur, showcased another exhilarating day of top-class hockey, filled with power-packed performances and thrilling finishes.

The day was graced by the presence of distinguished guests Rishabha Garg, SP Rural-Jamshedpur, and Ruparani Tirkey, Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist & DSO East Singhbhum, who encouraged the athletes with their inspiring presence.

The clash between Petroleum Sports Promotion Board and Punjab National Bank was the most gripping contest of the day, ending in a narrow 4-3 win for PSPB with star forward Yousuf Affan leading from the front. Railway Sports Promotion Board continued their dominant run with a commanding 5-2 victory over CAG, while Punjab & Sind Bank delivered a resounding 7-0 win against SSB, powered by a brilliant hat-trick from Harmanjit Singh.

With the competition intensifying, every team is leaving no stone unturned to secure a spot in the knockout stages.
