Jamshedpur Public School team honored at Shantiniketan Festival

Jamshedpur: Students of Jamshedpur Public School (JPS) received the prestigious Ravi Kanya Award at the globally renowned Sharad Shantiniketan Utsav held at Shantiniketan, Bolpur. Classical dance instructor Bharati Banerjee was also honored with the Shri Acharya Award for her contributions to the field of classical dance.
Bharati Banerjee, known for her remarkable performances on national and international stages, expressed her pride in performing at Shantiniketan, the land of Nobel laureate Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore. She credited the school’s Principal Namita Agarwal for her guidance and encouragement, which inspired the students to perform with energy and enthusiasm.
During the event, JPS students, including Ishika Biswas, Anhita Mohanty, Anushka, Aditri Nayak, Arpita Biradar, Chetna, and Saanvi Sahu, presented a captivating rendition of Rabindranath Tagore’s Pritam. Their performance received widespread acclaim, with the judging panel awarding the team the Best Performance Award. Bharati Banerjee was recognized with the Shri Acharya Award for leading the team to success.
