Jamshedpur private hospitals and nursing homes showcaused for absenting in Covid meeting

Jamshedpur, Apr 14: East Singhbhum deputy commissioner Suraj Kumar on Wednesday showcaused several private hospitals and nursing homes for failing to turn at the review meeting at district collectorate to discuss on action plan on curbing spread of Covid infecction. 
The health centers and nursing homes which were showcaused included, Ganga Memorial Hospital (Mango), Lifeline Nursing Home (Sakchi), Singh Nursing Home (Ghatshila), Dr P. K Ghosh (Baharagora), Vinapani Nursing Home (Kadma), Mohini Smriti Sadan Nursing Home and Subernarekha Nursing Home. 
During the meeting deputy commissioner asked the hospitals to increase the capacity of ICU, CCU beds, oxygen supported beds and ventilator beds so that Covid patients are treated properly in the hospital. 
The deputy commissioner also took information on the existing capacity of different types of beds with the various hospitals so that an action plan can be prepared for proper treatment of Covid patients.
