Jamshedpur: Press Club pays tribute to ‘Hardil Aziz’ Shamim Jamshedpuri

Jamshedpur, March 3: The Press Club of Jamshedpur organized a condolence meeting on Thursday, to pay tribute city’s senior journalist, ‘Hardil Aziz’ Mohammad Shamim Jamshedpuri. Members bowed in respect before the portrait of the departed Md Shamim Jamshedpuri and observed a two minute silence in prayer for the departed soul. Md Shamim Jamshedpuri passed away early Wednesday morning at a hospital where he was undergoing treatment for cardiac ailment.

During the condolence meeting of the Press Club of Jamshedpur, members after deliberations, decided that club members would remain in constant touch with Late Md Shamim’s family to ensufre that it did not face financial problems. It was also decided that the educational expenses of Shamim’s two daughters would be bo0rne by the Press Club of Jamshedpur and a lump-sum amount of money would be handed over to Shamim Jamshedpuri’s wife from the Club’s fund to help the family tide over immediate crisis. The meeting resolved to seek financial assistance for the bereaved family from the government.
