Jamshedpur: Poorva Sainiks submit memo to DC, SSP against police misconduct

Jamshedpur, March 17:  A delegation of Poorva Sainik Seva Parishad, Jamshedpur, submitted a memorandum to the DC and SSP, protesting the alleged misbehavior by Jugsalai Police Station with Army Jawan Havildar Suraj Rai, who was on leave. The council demanded his immediate release and legal action against the guilty policemen.

MP representative Sanjeev was present during the submission of the memorandum. Considering the gravity of the situation, senior officials from the Army and Police Administration visited Jamshedpur to assess the matter. The district administration has assured the ex-servicemen and the Army that appropriate action will be taken to uphold the dignity of soldiers and the armed forces.

The protest saw the participation of hundreds of ex-servicemen, along with state and district officials of the Poorva Sainik Seva Parishad. Key attendees included General Secretary Siddhnath Singh, Vice President Rajesh K. Pandey, District President Vinay Yadav, District General Secretary Jitendra Singh, and several other notable members.

The ex-servicemen have urged the administration to review all CCTV footage from the police station and ensure a fair investigation.
