Jamshedpur, March 25: In a bid to ensure transparency in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Election Commission of India has launched several mobile Apps including Suvidha mobile App. This has been done to ensure successful implementation of Suvidha App. This was observed by East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner-cum-Returning Officer Amit Kumar on Monday at a meeting with the representatives of various recognized political parties.
Kumar informed all participants and nodal officers about the App and its salient features. He said all candidates and political parties will have to apply through the Suvidha App for permission and information of various kinds related to the elections at least 48 hours ago. Candidates will be able to know the status of their applications by using the App, he said.
The DC nominated Deputy Development Commissioner B Maheshwari as the senior nodal officer in-charge of Suvidha App and directed him to set up a Suvidha cell. He had recently named other nodal officers of the district.
