Jamshedpur police to cancel firearms license of murder accused


Jamshedpur, May 8: Police have started process of cancelling the license of Tuntu Singh who has been arrested as the main accused in the firing case at Hotel A B Palace in Jugsalai Station Main Road in which a contractor Vikram Singh was killed. 
East Singhbhum SSP M Tamilvanan has asked Jugsalai thana OC to make a report on cancelation of firearms license issued to Tuntun Singh. who was arrested on May 6 from Mango. 

SSP informed that licensed firearms are given for self protection not for murdering somebody. 
Significantly Parsudih police has lodged a case under illegal firearms Act against Tuntun Singh as the family members failed to produce license of the 12-bore gun. The police have also managed to recover the empty cartridges used in the murder case from the roof of one Indrajit Singh Sachdeva situated at the back of the hotel which proves that the accused after the incident had tried to hide evidence by throwing the cartridges from the window.
