Jamshedpur: On the occasion of Vishwakarma Puja and Durga Puja in Jamshedpur, Jamshedpur Police held a special briefing to keep the traffic system in Jamshedpur smooth and safe.
During this, on the instructions of Senior Superintendent of Police, SP City and Traffic DSP, necessary guidelines were given to the police officers and personnel deployed in all traffic zones.
SP City said that in view of the increasing crowd and vehicular movement, traffic free zones will be created around the Puja pandals. Strict action will be taken against those not wearing helmets, wrong parking, triple riding and driving without license.
The Traffic DSP ordered to decide an alternative route for the convenience of the devotees and to strictly follow it.
Mango Traffic Incharge Hariaudh Karmali instructed the policemen to keep responsibility, restraint and public safety paramount. The police administration says that duty will be done with full vigilance in the city to make the Puja festival safe and peaceful.
