Jamshedpur Police files chargesheet in Jugsalai hotel murder case

Jamshedpur, August 3: Jugsalai police has filed chargesheet against Om Narayan Singh alias Tuntun Singh and his relative Rajkumar Singh for murder of transporter and owner of Hotel Kailash Residency Vikram Singh in Hotel A B Palace along Jugsalai Station Road after 90 days of the crime in the Jamshedpur Court. 

However, police has given relief to Tuntun Singh’s son Abhishek Singh, deceased uncle Shatrughan Singh, his wife Sunita Singh and son Akash Singh. However, it is said that investigation would continue against these accused. 

POlice have also lodged statement under Section 164 in the court of the main complainant of the case Amar Pratap Singh and his brother Sanju Singh. 

The chargesheet states Rajkumar Sigh as the conspirator and Tuntun Singh as the main accused. Tuntun Singh was arrested on May 7 from Mango and recovered a pistol and cartridges and also recovered the pistol used in the murder from behind the hotel, the site of the crime. While Rajkumar Singh was arrested from Tata Main Hospital soon after the incident. The main accused has a transport office in Krishi Utpadhan Bazar Samity in Parusidh and stays in Radhikanagar in Parsudih.

Both the accused are now in Ghaghidih Central jail.
