Jamshedpur, August 11: The Jamshedpur Police have solved the firing case at the Azadnagar cemetery under Ulidih police station. Arrests have been made, with Shadab and Alim Hussain Ansari taken into custody. Police recovered a pistol, two live cartridges, and a car from the suspects. The accused have been sent to jail following their arrest.

The breakthrough came after a detailed investigation led by a team under DSP Patmda, instructed by the SSP. The police interrogated the suspects rigorously, leading to the revelation of crucial details and the surrender of the weapon used in the incident.

Shadab, a resident of Hayat Nagar in Mango Ulidih, is involved in the tent house business and land transactions. Struggling with significant debt and pressure from creditors, Shadab concocted a story involving a staged shooting. He rented a pistol and, with his accomplice Alim Hussain Ansari, fired a shot from a distance of 5-6 feet from a car, shattering the vehicle’s glass. The firing was intended to create a false narrative, but the police’s swift action led to their arrest and the recovery of evidence.
