Jamshedpur, March 27: Jamshedpur Police intensified its security preparedness ahead of Ram Navami, with the Sakchi police station leading a coordinated foot flag march across key parts of the city.
The march covered several sensitive areas, including Sakchi and Bistupur, where a visible deployment of security personnel underscored the administration’s alertness.
During the march, police officials urged residents to celebrate the festival in a peaceful and harmonious manner.
Citizens were advised to refrain from paying heed to rumours and to promptly report any suspicious activity to the authorities.
Personnel from multiple police stations participated in the exercise, jointly assessing security arrangements along the route. Strategic locations were closely monitored to preempt any untoward incidents.
The police administration reiterated that comprehensive measures are in place to maintain law and order during the festivities. The flag march, officials said, aims not only to reinforce public confidence but also to send a clear warning to elements seeking to disrupt peace
