Jamshedpur, July 9: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) and Tata Steel Urban Infrastructure Services Ltd. (TSUISL) have initiated preparations for Swachh Survey 2024. Under the leadership of Deputy Municipal Commissioner Krishna Kumar, a joint meeting was convened to strategize for the upcoming survey. The focus was on addressing previous shortcomings and improving the city’s ranking in the Swachhta Survey. Emphasizing on comprehensive waste management, officials stressed the importance of the three R’s: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. With Jamshedpur already holding an ODF Plus certificate, efforts are geared towards securing a top position in the Swachhta Survey 2024, which consists of three rounds totalling 9500 marks. Future ground-level meetings are planned to ensure coordinated efforts towards achieving these goals.
