Jamshedpur: In line with the directive of Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi, a district-wide ground inspection was carried out today by designated nodal officers to assess the implementation and effectiveness of government welfare schemes and services. The campaign, which is part of a special monitoring drive initiated by the East Singhbhum district administration, is aimed at ensuring transparency, efficiency, and accountability in public service delivery.

The nodal officers conducted inspections in various panchayats and municipal wards across all blocks of the district. The inspection areas included Beko (Jamshedpur), Tangrain (Potka), Bankuchia (Patamda), Paharpur (Bodam), Kadaduba (Ghatshila), Ichda (Musabani), Katashol (Dumaria), Jugishol (Dhalbhumgarh), Sakra (Baharagora), Simdi (Chakulia), and Singhpura (Gudabandha). Urban wards across all three municipal bodies of Jamshedpur were also reviewed.

During the field visit, officials inspected Anganwadi centres, government schools, health sub-centres, ration shops under the public distribution system, MNREGA worksites, and panchayat buildings. The objective was to examine the availability, quality, and accessibility of services related to education, healthcare, nutrition, sanitation, and food security.
Deputy Commissioner emphasized that this initiative is not just a routine check but a crucial effort to ensure that schemes are reaching the intended beneficiaries on time and with full transparency. “Regular field inspections help us identify lapses and address them promptly. This ensures that the benefits of government schemes are not delayed or denied,” he stated.
The district administration clarified that the campaign will continue on a weekly basis, every Saturday, as part of a long-term monitoring strategy. The focus is on timely corrective measures, data-based decision-making, and strengthening grassroots-level governance in the district.
