Jamshedpur: Naval Tata Hockey Jharkhand Junior State Hockey C’ship from Aug 4

Sub-Junior championship to kick off on August 10

Jamshedpur, August 1: Naval Tata Hockey Jharkhand Junior State Hockey Championship 2024 (Men) under the aegis of Hockey Jharkhand is set to kick off August 4 at Naval Tata Hockey Academy (NTHA), Jamshedpur.

Under the age category of below 19, a total of 8 teams will compete in this tournament, representing various districts of Jharkhand. In the junior category- Pool A and Pool B consists of 4 teams each. Pool A consists of NTHA, Ranchi, Hazaribagh & Bokaro whereas Pool B includes Simdega, Gumla, Khunti and Ramgarh.

All the matches are scheduled to be held at Naval Tata Hockey Academy, Jamshedpur. Accommodations for the teams have been arranged at the JRD Tata Sports Complex, ensuring they have a comfortable stay and are well-prepared for their matches. The players will get valuable exposure from this tournament, enhancing their skills and competitive spirit.

While the Junior Championship will conclude on August 8, matches of Sub-Junior category will take place during August 10 to 14 at the same venue. The teams would include Gumla, Ranchi, NTHA, Simdega, Khunti, Hazaribagh, West Singhbhum and East Singhbhum.
