Jamshedpur: In a homage to the revolutionary Mangal Pandey, who ignited the spirit of resistance against British oppression, the prominent social organization ‘Naman’ led by founder Amarpreet Singh Kale, gathered at its Sakchi office. Alongside women, youth, and esteemed dignitaries, floral tributes were offered on the martyrdom day of Mangal Pandey.
Former DSP Kamal Kishore, speaking as the chief guest, emphasized the enduring inspiration found in Mangal Pandey’s bravery, sacrifice, and martyrdom. He lauded Naman’s de-addiction campaign and pledged support to its noble cause.
Founder Amarpreet Singh Kale highlighted the pivotal role of revolutionaries like Mangal Pandey in securing the nation’s freedom. He urged the youth to emulate their resolute spirit and remain steadfast in safeguarding the country’s liberty.
Senior journalist Jaiprakash Rai, along with social workers Mahendrapal Singh, Ramkeval Mishra, and Pappu Rao, shared their perspectives during the event, which was impeccably orchestrated by Dhanurdhar Tripathi. Jugun Pandey extended gratitude in the vote of thanks.
