Jamshedpur, March 16: The body of Sagar Sona, a resident of Vidyapati Nagar under Sidhgora police station, was recovered from the Swarnarekha river located at Sidhgora Neem Bhatta.
Sagar was missing since Tuesday night. In this case, Sagar’s mother Kanti Devi had reported missing on Wednesday night, after which the police started questioning Sagar’s accomplices Vishal and Rahul in custody. The police also detained another youth and interrogated him. The young man told that after killing Sagar, he threw the dead body into the river. The police recovered Sagar’s body from the middle of the Swarnrekha river located in Neem Bhatta. After tying his hands and feet, Sagar’s body was tied with stones and thrown into the middle of the river. The killer told the police that Sagar often snatched money from him. Found him alone on Tuesday night and had a fight with him. He fell during the fight. Picked him up and took him to the river bank and he was loaded into a boat and taken to the middle of the river and tied the dead body to a stone and threw it into the river.
