Jamshedpur murder: Rahul’s killers had booked cab on woman‘s mobile phone

Jamshedpur, Nov 25: The accused Ravindra Mahato and Sudhir Kumar Sharma, who were arrested for the murder of cab driver Rahul Srivastava, have confessed in front of the police that they went to the shop in Adityapur on August 1, the day of the incident. They had tea and breakfast there.
From there both booked a cab from Adityapur to Chandil Dam. For this, the woman’s mobile was taken fraudulently and the cab was booked from her mobile itself. The cab driver reached Adityapur only after booking. From there all went to Chandil Dam. There the driver was killed.

They went towards Nimdih with car and mobile. From there returned to Gamharia the next day. Hiding in a house in Gamharia itself, the car was kept.
The main facilitator of the incident is Ravindra Mahto is originally a resident of Galudih. In Gamharia, he used to drive a car in a company.
 The accused had killed the driver, Rahul Srivastava, only to rob the car and sell it. The car could not be sold due to lack of documents. Ravindra Mahto had also taken an advance amount of 25 thousand rupees from a person for its sale.
 The police of MGM worked hard in the matter. They have collected every single piece of evidence. The police reached the holder of the mobile number from which the calls were made for the cab booked. The lady who belonged to the shopkeeper. He and his son were interrogated. Both could not say anything.
