Jamshedpur, May 8: A Kendriya Mukhi Samaj delegation met the Senior Superintendent of Police to address concerns regarding a purported false extortion case. The case involved allegations against five Dalit women and their families from Sopodera in the Parsudih police station area.

The delegation raised concerns over the registration of a false case accusing the Dalit women and their husbands of demanding extortion of Rs 5 lakh. The alleged demand was purportedly made during a protest against the blockade of the public road at Gandhi Maidan Sopodera and the occupation of raiyat land belonging to tribal woman Sukurmani Ho.

In a bid to ensure a thorough investigation, a resident from the Central Mukhi community submitted an application to the Senior Superintendent of Police in Jamshedpur. The SSP assured proper investigation into the matter and take appropriate action.

Members of the delegation presenting the memorandum included central president Hari Mukhi, working president Paresh Kumar Mukhi, BJP leader Vimal Baitha, as well as several other community representatives. The meeting aimed to address the grievances and seek justice for those implicated in the alleged false case.
