Jamshedpur, July 26: On Friday, Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahto raised concerns in Parliament regarding the poor condition of National Highway-18 in Baharagora. He highlighted that the service road near Kaliadinga Chowk, a crucial junction connecting Odisha, Jharkhand, and West Bengal, is in severe disrepair. Mahto pointed out that this road, often used for traffic, is prone to accidents and suffers from frequent waterlogging due to incomplete construction of the PCC road sections.
Additionally, Mahto addressed traffic congestion issues near NH-33, Ghatshila Bus Stand, and Phuldungri, proposing the construction of an overbridge at the bus stand and an underpass at Phuldungri to alleviate the traffic problems. He urged the departmental minister to take immediate action to address these critical infrastructure issues.
