Jamshedpur, December 20: Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato today met Union Minister of State for Labor Rameshwar Teli and submitted a memorandum to him regarding additional ESI Hospital of 200 bed.
The MP said that a large number of insurance policy (IP) holders reside in this area. The present hospital is not enough for them.
“The expansion work of the hospital located in Adityapur is going on at a very slow pace and I requested the Union minister to personally intervene in the issue. I also told the Minister that like before the referral of patients from ESI Hospital should be restored,” said Mahato.
It may be noted that the facility of referral for specialist services has almost been abolished. The Union Minister said that he himself will come to Jamshedpur and do a detailed assessment of all these things.
