Jamshedpur MP flags off Tatanagar-Godda passenger train at Tatanagar station

Jamshedpur, Oct 25: Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato flagged off the new Tata-Godda passenger train on its maiden journey at Tatanagar railway station here on Monday. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi was fulfilling his promise of providing convenient rail service to all citizens. He said the new train service was a result of the PM’s efforts.

Congratulating the residents of the city, the MP said the new train was a Diwali gift. “In the coming days, better rail connectivity would be provided from Tatanagar. I am putting in best efforts in this direction,” he said.

Mahato said starting new trains from Tatanagar to Jainagar and Jaipur were on the top of his priority list.

Also present on the occasion, the new Divisional Rail Manager (DRM) of Chakradharpur rail division, Arun J Rathore said it would be his aim to provide better amenities to passengers.

Other dignitaries present on the occasion included Senior DCM Manish Pathak and several senior citizens.
