Dumaria, May 12: In Dumaria Bazaar of East Singhbhum district, the BJP inaugurated its election office on Sunday, with BJP candidate MP Bidyut Baran Mahato leading the ceremony. A strategy meeting was convened with party workers to outline the election campaign.
During the meeting, Bidyut Baran Mahato criticized the coalition government, alleging laxity in governance. He cited instances such as the lack of forest and environmental approvals for the construction of an airport in Dhalbhumgarh, which was declared an Elephant Corridor despite purportedly never witnessing elephant activity.
Mahato further lamented delays in the renewal of mine leases in Surda and Musabani areas, attributing the setbacks to the current administration’s indifference. He asserted that the closure of mines was a consequence of the government’s failure to grant forest and environmental clearances.
Other party leaders present at the event included former MLA Menka Sardar, senior leader Dinesh Sao, and various other party members and representatives.
