Jamshedpur MP Bidyut meets Gadkari, demands repair and reconstruction of major roads in LS constituency

Jamshedpur, Feb 9: On Friday, Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahto met Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari and put across demands for the repair and construction of several major roads under the Central Road Infrastructure Fund (CRIF) within the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituency. Mahato stated that the extremely deteriorated condition of these roads was disconcerting as most were in extremist affected areas.

The list of roads that required immediate repair and reconstruction was presented by Mahato and they included construction of a road from Beltand Raghunathpur Main Road to Kumir in West Bengal, passing through Jalpa College Square, Kamalpur Sarangidih, and Bangurda; construction of a road from Chakulia Bend Main Road to Bangam Tilbani Shanti Nagar, via Mishrikanta Badsol; construction of NH-6 from Kaliyadinga to Jagnnathpur, passing through Chitreshwar, Ranguniya, and Kumardhubi; construction of NH-18 from Maheshpur to Jyoti Pahadi, Pulia, Jambani Angarpara, up to Balijuri Pahadpur, via Tribal Colony; construction of a road from Katini Mod to Hudum Bilibaiya Samarojoda, till Dandudiha Road; construction of a road from Kankidih to Bankuchia via Kumir.

Union Minister Gadkari assured that appropriate action would be taken promptly regarding the construction of all these roads.
