Jamshedpur, May 25: Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato and Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy jointly inaugurated 36 development projects worth Rs 15.51 crore undertaken by the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) here on Wednesday.
JNAC officials said there are 16 projects under the road transport head, nine under civic amenities and 11 under 15th Finance Commission. These projects are related to construction of roads and drains, laying of pavers block, renovation of Chhath Ghat and Sunday Market, construction of shed over Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s statue, plantation drive, installation of solar plant, 3D mapping survey of city, installation of pollution testing equipments and LED display boards in different city areas under Jamshedpur East Assembly constituency. These areas include Birsanagar, Baridih, Golmuri, Jemco, Burmamines, Sitaramdera, Laxminagar and Moharda, officials said.
The Special Officer of JNAC Krishna Kumar was present during the inauguration along with the assistant engineers, junior engineers, contractors and office staff.
