Jamshedpur, July 27: Finally the people of Jamshedpur especially Mango, Azadnagar, Olidih and MGM police station areas can breathe a sigh of relief from Tuesday as week-long indefinite curfew imposed throughout the city has been lifted off with effect from 11 pm on Monday night onwards.
The last 4 police stations Mango, Azadnagar, Ulidih and MGM which saw severity till Sunday night were also relaxed taking into account no incidence of violence reported.
People can now easily commute throughout the city any time at their own sweet will. Now the markets can remain open for a longer duration of time.
It is expected that the administration will stage night patrolling of police o keep a close watch on the streets.
It may be noted that curfew was imposed after violent clashes between two communities at Mango area of city on Monday last.
