Saraikela, August 13: Ichagarh MLA Savita Mahto offered her condolences to the grief stricken family members of Tarani Layek who was killed in a road accident at Chowka. Savita met the Layek family at their residence at Naro in Nadisai Panchayat of Ichagarh. She also met Dashrath Singh oh Kathaldih village in Nimdih Block and expressed condolence to the entire household. Dashrath had lost his two daughters who had died of snakebite.
MLA Savita Mahato visited both affected families to express condolences and lend her support.
The MLA extended financial assistance to both families and assured them of being provided compensation by the government at the earliest. She also conveyed her support to both families and assured them of all possible help.
JMM Central Member Kablu Mahato, Sub-district President Hare Krishna Singh Sardar, Amit Sinha, Deepak, Sarat Singh, Basant Singh, and Heera Das accompanied the MLA during her visit.
