Jamshedpur, Jan 9: A delegation led by Jugsalai MLA Mangal Kalindi met the sub divisional officer (SDO) Piyush Sinha on Monday and handed over a memorandum to him demanding stay on an ongoing construction on a government land in North Karandih panchayat of Jamshedpur block. The MLA demanded that Panchayat building should be built on the allotted government land. He said the local Mukhiya Sini Soren, panchayat committee member Sangita Patro and Deputy Mukhiya Chandmani Devi were sitting on an indefinite agitation for the last seven days. Zila Parishad member Purnima Mallick and Kavita Parmar garlanded the agitating panchayat representatives.
