Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Roy visited the newly constructed water tank located at New Purulia Road in the Forest Department area. The water tank, which had been in the pipeline for years, faced delays in becoming operational due to a lack of coordination between local authorities.

During his visit, Roy pointed out that the foundation stone for the water tank had been laid during his previous tenure, but despite the completion of its construction, water supply had not yet begun. He took immediate action by calling a meeting with officials from various departments including the Municipal Corporation, Public Health Department (PHD), and Electricity Department.

Saryu Roy emphasized the urgency of the matter, stating, “We must remove all obstacles to ensure that the residents benefit from this water tank as soon as possible. This is a matter of public welfare, and we will not tolerate any delays.”

Present at the meeting were several local leaders and workers, including Amarendra Paswan, Rakesh Singh Lodhi, and others, who supported the MLA’s initiative to expedite the process.
