Jamshedpur: Hundreds of members of the Hindu community in a strong display of solidarity, gathered in Jamshedpur to protest against the recent atrocities and mistreatment of Hindus in Bangladesh. The protesters, led by prominent local leaders including former minister Ramchandra Sahis, Kanhaiya Singh, and several others, marched to the District Collectorate to demand immediate action to ensure the safety of Hindus in Bangladesh.
Speaking to the media, Ramchandra Sahis expressed deep concern over the inhumane treatment of Hindus in Bangladesh. He stated, “On one hand, we respect all religions, but on the other hand, it is painful to witness such atrocities against Hindus. This cannot be tolerated.” He called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take swift and decisive action to address the issue. “Since India has always considered Bangladesh as an ally and has extended cooperation, it is deeply concerning to see such actions against our community. We demand that the government take immediate action to stop these atrocities and secure the release of the Hindu religious leader who has been unjustly detained,” Sahis added.
The protestors submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner, urging the Indian government to intervene and take a stand against the violence targeting Hindus in Bangladesh. They also demanded that the Bangladesh government be held accountable for its failure to protect minorities.
