Jamshedpur MLA Saryu Roy for opening of Burmamines multi-storied building

Jamshedpur, May 11: Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy on Thursday inspected the three-storey building built near Vinobha Ashram in Burmamines, which was built by entrepreneur R. K Aggarwal during the Covid period, to provide education to the students of Ashram and other places up to high school.

It was built earlier and was done by the then Governor of Jharkhand and currently President Draupadi Murmu.

Due to some dispute, this school building has been sealed by JNAC.

“Yesterday, I met the Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum for using this school building in the public interest and requested that this grand building be used in the interest of education soon after settling the dispute. I have also talked about this with Tata Steel officials so that the land related dispute can be decided and if necessary certain rules can be relaxed,” said Roy in a release.

“I would request the Deputy Commissioner to visit the school site and see how much damage has been done to the assets and the structure of the building due to being closed for a long time,’ said Roy.

Neighboring resident told that anti-social elements enter the building at night by scaling the wall and commit theft. Recently a thief was also caught by the people.

Ironically, after sealing a newly constructed grand building, JNAC did not pay attention to its maintenance and security. At the time of sealing, JNAC must have made a list of assets. The actual situation can be known by matching with it.
