Jamshedpur: To tackle the issue of encroachment on the road from Sonari to Domuhani, a drive was conducted by the Sub-Divisional Officer of Dhalbhum and the Special Officer of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee, under the direction of the Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum. The objective of the drive was to remove encroachments and keep the road free of traffic jams.

During the drive, the team removed encroachments and collected fines from shopkeepers who had increased the size of their shops by making tin sheds or sheds with bamboos. The team had warned the encroachers two days before the campaign began, yet some shopkeepers and encroachers did not comply, resulting in fines being imposed. In total, the team collected a fine of 27,100/- from 23 people during the campaign. Special Officer, Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee, Santoshani Murmu, City Manager Ravi Bharti, Regional Revenue Worker Vinod Tiwari, and Ganesh Ram were among the officials involved in the drive, along with the flying squad team.(
