Jamshedpur MLA Saryu raises power connection issues in Incab township 

Jamshedpur, August 3: The state government will send a request to the Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory Commission to take action regarding providing separate electricity connections to all the houses in Incab township.

Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Rai asked a question in the Assembly whether the government proposes to direct the licensee company, Tata Steel Limited, to provide electricity connections to all households in the cable industry area?

On which the government said that on the request of the residents of this area, electricity connections were given to nine institutions for power supply in nine parts, which supply electricity to all the houses.

On this answer of the government placed in the Vidhansabha, Rai spoke to the Additional Chief Secretary, Energy Department and expressed dissatisfaction with the reply.

“The government should direct to give separate electricity connections to all the houses in the Incab township area or else I would approach the electricity regulatory commission,” said Rai.
