Jamshedpur, February 8: Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Rai organized a workshop for the workers to get detailed information about the Central Government’s scheme ‘Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana’.
A number of 50 Bharatiya Janta Morcha workers participated in this workshop and got information.
Officers associated with Ayushman Bharat Yojana and hospital attended the workshop and they provided detailed information regarding Ayushman Yojana.
In the workshop, Saryu Rai said that being an MLA, he realized that Ayushman Yojana is a very good scheme of the Central Government, through which weak and needy people are getting benefited by getting free treatment. But due to lack of information, even today the patients of Ayushman are not getting their full rights and many misconceptions are arising among them regarding the Ayushman scheme.
Saryu Rai also blamed several hospitals which create misunderstanding among the patients, and take money for treatment from the poor.
“This is the reason for Ayushman Yojana awareness by officials have been called so that they can train at least 50-60 people of the eastern assembly constituency so that if they face any problem related to Ayushman in their locality, they will cooperate with them and guide them,” said Rai.
In the workshop, Prakash Singh, cluster head of Kolhan Division of Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Atul Bera, Ranchi activist, District Surveillance Officer Sahir Pal and others attended the workshop.
