Jamshedpur, Nov 19: Giving momentum to ongoing development activities in Jamshedpur East, MLA Purnima Sahu on Wednesday inaugurated multiple projects worth nearly Rs 38 lakh in Baridih. The launch of these works has created a positive atmosphere in the constituency, with locals noting visible improvements in basic infrastructure.
The newly inaugurated projects include the renovation of the Andhra Sangam Club in Sidgora, installation of an entry gate, Manjhi Sthan structure and paver blocks at the Santhal Jahersthan on the eastern end of Bara Flats, construction of a drainage system from Bablu Pandey’s residence to KP Srivastava’s house near Bagunnagar TOP Ground and the building of two sheds at the Agrico Transport Ground.
Local residents welcomed the MLA traditionally and praised her active involvement in driving development. Many said that rapid progress is evident across various parts of Jamshedpur East in recent months. Expressing gratitude, MLA Sahu appreciated the community’s support.
Speaking at the event, Purnima Sahu said several crucial and essential projects have been identified across the constituency. “All public-interest works will be completed on priority in the coming days. My effort is to ensure that every area gets access to necessary basic facilities,” she said.
The programme saw the presence of MLA representative Gunjan Yadav, Baridih Mandal President Jeevan Lal Sahu, Sushant Panda, Kumar Abhishek, Kanchan Dutta, Seenu Rao, Meera Jha, Ramu Rao, Arun Prasad, Mahendra Majhi, Vishnu Gupta and a large number of local residents and BJP workers. (
