Jamshedpur, Jan 11: A class 9 student of Kowali police station area was allegedly raped by two youths on Monday and Tuesday last. She had reportedly gone missing yesterday evening. On returning home this morning, she narrated the incident to her parents who took her to Kowali police station and lodged a complaint against the accused persons, identified as Raisen Mardi and Kishan Sahni. The minor was further taken to MGM Hospital for medical examination.
According to DSP Mosabani, Chandrashekhar Azad, the victim’s family members searched for her late yesterday evening on failing to find her in and around the house. The victim told her parents she was taken to an isolated place by Raisen late night and was raped by him. Kishan Sahni also raped the girl in a separate incident on 8th January last. Acting promptly, police arrested both accused from their homes.
