Jamshedpur, April 14: The Jamshedpur Minority Advocate Committee (JMAC) observed the birth anniversary of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar with reverence at Ramdas Bhatta in Bistupur. Members paid homage to Bharat Ratna Ambedkar by garlanding his portrait during the celebration.
Advocate Hamid Raja Khan presided over the function, with Advocate Guddu Haider conducting the proceedings. Haider emphasized the significance of the Indian Constitution, authored by Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar labeling it as the finest in the world. He praised its role in ensuring justice for the backward, Dalit, deprived, exploited, and minority communities, elevating them to prominent positions in society.
In his address, Advocate Zahid Iqbal reiterated the community’s unwavering faith in Baba Saheb’s Constitution, vowing to resist any attempts to alter it. He affirmed the commitment to safeguarding the Constitution of India at all costs.
The meeting saw the participation of several advocates including Md Arshad Ansari, Gulrez Ansari, Behzad Asif, Md Shakeel, Shakeel Ahmed, SM Akhtar, Md Akhtar Ansari, Md Sajjad, Md Imteyaz, Umed Imteyaz, and Md Irfan. Md Kamaruddin proposed the vote of thanks.
