Jamshedpur, Aug 18: A 12 year-old boy, identified as Masang Murmu, was bitten by a snake in Bartolia village of Chakulia block on Thursday. He has been hospitalized in Chakulia Community Health Centre (CHC) where he is reportedly stable.
Sources said the minor is a resident of Nagdoha village of Baharagora block. The victim had come to his maternal uncle’s residence. He was reportedly busy picking maize from the farm when a snake reportedly bit him. Dr Ranjeet Kumar Murmu, Medical Officer In-charge of the CHC, said the child’s condition was okay as of now and that he was under observation.
