Jamshedpur : In a shocking incident at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial (MGM) Medical College Hospital a patient hanged himself in the toilet of the medical ward. The incident spread panic in the hospital. The hospital management informed the police about this. The police reached the spot and started investigating.
The cause of death has not yet been ascertained. However, this is not the first case in MGM Hospital. Earlier too many patients jumped from the medical ward and gave their lives. In view of this, an iron mesh was installed in the window of the entire hospital. The name of the patient, who was hanged was Kailash Purti.
He was suffering from many diseases. The patient’s BHT paper is also being examined. The Deputy Superintendent of MGM Hospital, Dr. Nakul Prasad Chaudhary said that the whole matter is still being investigated.
