Jamshedpur: Mason dies of electric shock

Jamshedpur, Aug 23: The mason, who was working on plaster in a building on Azadnagar Road No. 12 of Mango, got electrocuted on Monday morning. While doing plaster, he got stuck with the wiring being made in the house. Fellow laborers rushed him to MGM Hospital where the doctors declared him dead.

The deceased Lal Mohan Soren (50) was a resident of Old Purulia Road No. 12. He used to work under the contractor Imtiaz. On receiving information about the incident, the relatives of the mason also reached MGM Hospital. The work of construction of a house of a person named Kuber is going on in Azad Nagar Road No. 12. Riya Hansda, a fellow laborer of the deceased, said that both were doing plaster work on the ceiling. The wiring wire had passed from the side.
