Jamshedpur Marwari Samaj to celebrate Holi on March 18

Jamshedpur, March 18: The President of East Singhbhum District Marwari Sammelan, Ashok Modi and general secretary Arun Gupta, issued a joint press release on Monday, clearing some of the confusion regarding the date of Holi. Holi will be celebrated by Marwari Samaj on Friday, March 18 and Holika Dahan will be done on the night of Thursday, March 17. They requested the people of the district, including the Marwari community, to celebrate Holi peacefully by giving the message of brotherhood. Holi is such a festival which gives the message of promoting mutual harmony, brotherhood and love. By adopting this message, celebrate the festival as a festival, not with fanfare.
