Jamshedpur, Dec 9: East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav took stock of encroachment across the city on Friday as she visited various places with a team of district administration officials.  She visited Chuna Shah Baba’s Mazar, Jail Chowk, Baradwari and Bhalubasa Over Bridge area among other places to conduct physical inspection of various spots. She inspected the Sakchi-Bhalubasa road and directed the officials concerned to keep the city roads free of encroachment.  She said the Sakchi-Bhalubasa road would be widened soon. She said the cooperation of traders was expected to keep the roads encroachment free for commuters.

The DC’s visit to Chuna Shah Baba’s Mazar at Bistupur lasted around two hours. It was found that several places were encroached on the premises of the Mazar.
