Jamshedpur, June 27: Jugsalai MLA Mangal Kalindi visited Makdampur locality under South Kalimati panchayat of Jamshedpur block on Tuesday.
During this, the MLA inspected the big drain located in Munshi Mohalla which has been clogged after spells of rain. Due to which the water of the drain is entering the houses of the people. Due to which people are facing many problems.
The local people told the MLA that it is still the initial phase of the rains. If the drain is not cleaned then the problem can take a serious form.
Taking quick cognizance of the demand of the people, the MLA talked about getting the drain cleaned at his personal expense.
The local people had informed Mangal Kalindi, MLA of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly ruling party, about the problem of accumulation of water on the road in front of Gangaur Sweets located on Gauri Shankar Road of Jugsalai Municipal Council area.
On Tuesday, on the complaint of the people, the MLA along with the local JMM workers inspected the said site. During this, he ordered the officials of the city council to raise the road and widen the drain to avoid water accumulation on the road and himself stood up and cleaned the drain.
