Jamshedpur, Sept 3: A truck cleaner was stabbed to death by a youth, identified as Ibrahim, in Azadnagar police station area of Mango on Tuesday.
The victim, identified as Zeeshan, was critically injured in the incident. He was taken to MGM Hospital where he was declared dead.
Sources said Zeeshan had returned home Monday last in a truck all the way from Bangladesh. He used to stay in the house of his brother-in-law. After stabbing him, the accused decamped from the scene.
Investigators said the deceased had a spat with the attacker near Tezab Nullah. After a heated debate, the accused attacked Zeeshan with a knife.
A police force was deployed in the locality after the incident.
