Police bring couple from Mumbai under tight security

Jamshedpur, Sept 3: Situation turned volatile at Jamshedpur Civil Court on Tuesday during the production of Mohammad Shadab, the Jugsalai-based youth accused of abducting a girl from Pandey Mohulla in Jugsalai.
A group of people opposed police bid to get the girl�s statement recorded under Section 164 of the CRPC. The protestors also allegedly roughed up the youth. The couple was caught by police in Mumbai.
In view of the tense situation, police enhanced security on the court premises. After production in the court, police sent the accused in police remand.
Sources said the couple got married in Golpahari temple three months ago.
The girl went missing from her house few days back. Worried about her wellbeing, her parents lodged a police complaint with the Jugsalai police station.
