Jamshedpur, May 22: The family of Roshan Rajak, a resident of Hill View Colony, who lost his eyesight after being attacked by a group of four youths on 9th May last, has demanded arrest of the culprits.
The family members alleged that the four culprits, all medical students, were beating up a man at the gate of MGM Medical College early in the morning. When Roshan tried to save the victim, the culprits beat him up and hit near his eyes with a beer bottle. Roshan lost his eye sight due to serious injuries in his eyes. Now he is unable to look after his family as he has become jobless and helpless, said the family members.
Roshan’s family is too poor to bear the burden of his treatment, said one of his neighbours.
