Jamshedpur, March 9: Ravi Durge was brutally beaten to death near Kasidih Mansarovar Hotel on Friday night. According to information, a severely beaten up Ravi Durge was found in an unconscious state near the Kasidih Kali Mandir. Based on the statement provided by Ravi’s brother Amar, the police have filed an FIR against Satish Singh, suspecting him of murder.
Following the complaint, police conducted a raid at Satish’s residence; however, he was absconding. On Saturday, a post-mortem examination was conducted on Ravi’s body, which was later handed over to his family.
According to Amar, a dispute arose between Ravi and Satish near Mansarovar Hotel during a Shiv procession in Kashidih. Witnesses reported seeing Satish and other persons assaulting Ravi. Subsequently, Ravi was found unconscious near the Kali temple, with injuries on his chest and knees. He was rushed to MGM hospital for treatment but was later referred to TMH, where he succumbed to his injuries en route.
Currently, the police are investigating the incident.
