Jamshedpur, April 3: A Mango woman has accused her husband of having undergone fraudulent marriage with her and subjecting her to sexual exploitation and forced abortion.
In a complaint registered with the Mango police station, the woman alleged that her husband had married her despite being already married to another woman. The complainant said she learnt about her husband’s first marriage only several months after getting married to him. When she got pregnant, her husband forced her to undergo abortion, she told police.
The complainant has also booked her four in-laws in this connection.
Police officials said they were investigating the case and trying to verify the allegations.
