Jamshedpur man booked for exploiting woman

Jamshedpur, Feb 16: A woman from Kadma has accused one Manraj Mehandi of Road No. 2, Circuit House Area, of exploiting her physically after making false promise to marry her. She also accused Mehandi’s parents of beating her upShe has made a police complaint against her with the Kadma police station. She told cops she had met the accused in May 2022 at a mobile phone showroom at Bistupur. The accused reportedly proposed to marry her and started visiting her house. Here he would sexually exploit her, alleged the woman. The woman said she asked the accused to marry her on 25^th January last, but the accused refused to marry her and told her he was getting married to someone else. Police said an investigation was on into the incident.
