Jamshedpur, June 25: Lajpat Public School celebrated plantation day in the school premises in presence of teachers and students on Saturday, June 25.
Students planted saplings and also watered them.
School Principal Ranjit Ghosh informed how beneficial trees are and the impact it has in our lives.
“Just planting saplings and letting nature take care of it will not help. It is our duty as good citizens to look after the saplings and water them regularly, added Principal.
Chief Guest for the occasion was Vinod Arora the chairman of Shiksha Samiti. He motivated the teachers and students which filled everyone with positivity.
